2 NASA Internship opportunity

August 20, 2010

The following are 2 education related PART-TIME and PAID internship opportunities at NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field (next to Mountain View).  We are open to hiring a college student, someone just out of college that is not quite ready for a full-time position, or a recent HS graduate. Excellent HS student candidates will be considered.  A teacher who is not teaching full-time, on leave or pink-slipped might also be good for the ERC Coordinator position.  Both Internships offer excellent work experience and any NASA internship is a prized resume-builder!  Interest in science education, formal or informal, would be a definite plus! U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED.
Because of budget cuts, NASA is only able to fund operations to the Educator Resource Center via internships, so these position would also benefit the greater science education community.  If you know anyone who might be interested, please encourage them to apply!  See the opportunity descriptions below for more details.
