Up to $5000 for undergraduates interested in Native American health care- Deadline 3/1/2013

Scholarships are offered in any of three categories:

To students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment including policy, engineering, science, education, urban planning and renewal, business, health, justice, economics, and other related field.

The Foundation expects to award 50 scholarships of up to $5000 and 50 honorable mentions to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care.

Students are nominated by their college or university’s faculty representative, who is the liaison between the institution and the Foundation. Interested students should contact their FacRep as soon as
possible for information on their university’s nomination process. Many universities have institutional deadlines several months in advance of the Foundation’s application deadline.
