NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program (USRP)-Due Oct 31st

The NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program (USRP) is seeking candidates for the Spring 2011 internship session. USRP is a mentored internship for undergraduate students that are offered at all 12 NASA Centers and research support facilities across the United States. Students majoring in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics will have the opportunity to gain hands-on technical research experiences. Undergraduate students will have the opportunity to participate and work with a NASA mentor on a research project aligned with NASA’s core workforce competency needs. STEM undergraduate students are welcome to apply as long as they meet the basic eligibility criteria for the program:

  1. U.S. citizenship
  2. Sophomore, Junior or Senior
  3. Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 

The NASA USRP spring session will consist of a 15 week research experience at a participating NASA Center under the supervision of a NASA technical mentor. Selected students must be available to work 15 consecutive weeks at 40 hours per week during the Spring 2011 session starting on February 1, 2011.
