CAL-SEARCH LEARNING AND ROTATION OPPORTUNITIES – APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 28

The California Student/Resident Experiences and Rotations in Community Health (Cal-SEARCH) is a partnership between the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), the California Primary Care Association, and the California Area Health Education Center. The program will fund clinical training for 75 primary care students and residents statewide who will serve 4-to-6 week rotations in clinics and community health centers.
Student/residents in the program will gain hands-on clinical experience working with a health team, develop community projects linked to preceptors and mentors, and receive $665 stipend upon completion. Student/resident rotations are underway and will continue over the summer, so don’t hesitate to submit your application today! Final application deadline has been extended to June 28, 2010.
