Free NASA Ames Research Center Event April 9 and 10


This is more of a free extra curricular activity that seems interesting.

We received some information about a science-related event taking place at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View. The event is called Yuri’s Night Bay Area 2010 and takes place on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10. You can find more information and details here:
Friday’s theme is THE MULTIVERSE: 300,000 square feet of Interactive Learning Space…. This event will be free to elementary, high school and college students. There are many exhibits, workshops, hands-on activities, art installations and guest speakers at the event.
Saturday’s theme is FESTIVAL DAY: Four Stages of Entertainment, Featuring Les Claypool, Common, N.E.R.D., and the Black Keys. In addition to speakers, exhibits, activities and workshops, there will be a concert festival from Noon through 12:00am, where artists from all over the world will perform.
