The Latino Medical Student Association is soliciting applications for
Janine Gonzalez Scholarship for an MCAT Preparatory Course. This
scholarship is designed to developed to assist pre-medical students
with the financial burden of preparing for the Medical College
Admissions Test (MCAT) required to apply to accredited U.S. Medical
Schools. Personal qualities, financial need, academic and
extracurricular achievement will be considered in the selection
process.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be committed to pursuing a professional career in medicine and
dedicated to serving the Latino community.

Applicants should demonstrate a desire to advance the state of
healthcare and education in Latino communities through leadership in
extracurricular activities and/or membership in civic organizations.

Eligible applicants for the Medical School Application scholarship
should be applying for the Class of 2013.

Students interested in applying to Allopathic or Osteopathic Schools
of Medicine are welcome to apply and must meet the requirements stated
above.

right to withdraw funding or withhold payment pending submission of
necessary proof of payment of application registration fees.
