$1500 Med Student Award- Have you improved the health care system?

The American College of Medical Quality is pleased to announce the 2008 National Quality Scholars Program Call for Applications. This award recognizes excellent medical students who have demonstrated an interest and leadership role in improving our health care system with a $1,500.00 cash award. Medical students in all level of training are eligible for this award. For details, please see the attached official announcement and visit our website at www.acmq.org.

Application Process (more details are available on the ACMQ website www.acmq.org)
Medical students interested in applying for this scholarship must submit the following:
1. Current c.v. or resumé
2. Current contact information
3. Statement of Interest (500 words or less)
4. Quality Scholarship Essay

The cornerstone of your application, this essay can be either research based or an
opinion piece that addresses some aspect of health care quality. Quality scholars will
then be given the unique opportunity to present or distribute their work to national and
international leaders in health care quality at the 2008 ACMQ annual meeting.

All applications must be submitted via e-mail to acmq@acmq.org by 11:59 PM EST, Sunday,
September 30, 2007.
